The acclaimed director Arunraja Kamaraj earning fame in the South Industry has lost his wife Sindhuja to COVID-19 on Sunday night after being hospitalized. She was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after she got infected with the virus and started having severe complications. Many celebrities from the South Indian film industry took to social media to express their condolences to director Arunraja Kamaraj and his family. The notable filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj paid his homage through Twitter to the director and his family in grief and wrote – “Deepest Condolences @Arunrajakamaraj brother..... Really sorry for your loss...."


The famous actor Sibi Sathyaraj also mourns and wrote an emotional note – “My deepest condolences to @Arunrajakamaraj bro and his family. Really sorry for your loss. Stay strong brother.”


Arunraja Kamaraj’s wife, Sindhuja's health was deteriorating after she tested positive but could not be saved despite being admitted to the ICU.
